Incoming 6th Grade Eagles:

(6th graders for the 2016-2017 School Year)

There are many activities to get your current 6th grader ready and excited for their 6th grade year.  Below are some dates and announcements for you to be aware of during the upcoming months.  The SVMS Counseling webpage will contain course enrollment information starting in February: http://svms.liberty.k12.mo.us/Enrollment

  • Elementary students visit SVMS for an “Elective Avenue”: 
    Tuesday, February 2nd, 9:30am
    • All students that will attend SVMS will have an opportunity to see the encore classes in action.  Students will be bussed from their elementary building to SVMS to attend an assembly and visit classrooms.
  • Parent and Student Night: 
    Thursday, February 4th, 7pm-8pm
    • All students and parents are welcome  and encouraged to attend
    • Parents will receive information about class selection, SVMS logistics, and have an opportunity to tour the school
    • Students will meet with our current WEB leaders (student leaders) to learn more about SVMS and take a tour
  • SVMS Counselors Visit Elementary Buildings to hear about 6th grade course selections
    • February 3rd:  Kellybrook Elementary
    • February 4th:  Lewis & Clark
    • February 5th:  Shoal Creek & Warren Hills
